ENGLISH READING GROUP
Gruppo di lettura in lingua originale
A cura di Alessia Tassinari – Bibliotecaria
Venerdì ore 18.30
Sala Riviste Biblioteca Loria
In this reading group, we’ll read novels and short stories by authors from different English-speaking countries.
We advise you to read the book before the meeting, so you can actively participate in the conversation, but you can attend also if you haven’t read the book, or if you have read it in Italian. We’ll discuss the book both in Italian, and, for those who are confident, in English as well.
What, when and where:
Friday 20th November 2026
Boy: tales of childhood by Roald Dahl
Friday 29th January 2027
The body by Stephen King
Friday 26th March 2027
The long way down by Nick Hornby
Thursday 27th May 2027
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone by J. K. Rowling
All meetings will be held in the Magazine and Newspaper Section of the library.
No reservation needed. You can attend a single meeting or as many as you like.
