In this reading group, we’ll read novels and short stories by authors from different English-speaking countries.
We advise you to read the book before the meeting, so you can actively participate in the conversation, but you can attend also if you haven’t read the book, or if you have read it in Italian. We’ll discuss the book both in Italian, and, for those who are confident, in English as well.

Friday 21st November 2025 – The old man and the sea, by Ernest Hemingway
Friday 30th January 2026 – 1984, by George Orwell
Friday 27th March 2026 – I, robot, by Isaac Asimov
Thursday 21 st May 2026– Small things like these, by Claire Keegan
All meetings will be held in the Magazine and Newspaper Section of the library.
